Melissa is a New York City based actress with 10+ years of dance and movement experience from ballet & jazz to African and modern, who also has a love of puppets. She most recently starred in the short film, Merry Go, written and directed by Ray Persaud, about a woman's violent reaction to domestic abuse.
Select film credits includes: The Sisters Plotz and the web series, Maybe Sunshine. She was last seen on stage this summer at The Player’s Theatre as Sally Sutherby in The Sutherby Triplets, part of the New York International Fringe Festival. Select stage credits include: Helena - Alls Well that Ends Well; Cecily - The Importance of Being Earnest; Lil' Sally - Urinetown.
Originally from Raleigh, NC, Melissa adores living in the city and when she is not taking acting, singing, or dancing classes or studying reiki, she can be found cat sitting or hanging in Queens with her fat cat, Cleo.
